Eco-Room or Economy Room: These rooms are for those of you who prefer the cheapest option, but are also for those of you who are flexible in that these rooms may differ from the pictures shown on the website. In some cases, they may differ in terms of location, decor, size and facilities compared to what is described in the hotel text.

Off-season: If you are travelling outside the normal summer season, which typically runs from April to October, some facilities may not be open. It is up to each individual hotel whether these are open or not.

Fees: Unless we have specifically written "free" in the hotel text regarding e.g. Wi-Fi, Air conditioning, Safebox, etc., there will usually be fees paid directly to the hotel.

Check-in / check-out: Upon arrival, you can expect check-in at 2 p.m. at the earliest. Check-out is usually 12 p.m., some hotels have an earlier check-out (ask at reception).

At some hotels it is possible to rent your room for longer periods against direct payment.

Eco-tax: In several travel destinations, the authorities charge an "ECOTAX". The income from this is used to neutralize the increased CO2 emissions caused by the tourism industry. The tax is paid by all overnight tourists and is calculated based on the hotel's category. The amount is typically somewhere between 1-5 euros per person over 16 years of age per night. Unfortunately, this is not something we, as a travel agency, can include in the price of the trip, as only the accommodation is allowed to charge and settle it with the authorities. Settlement usually takes place at check-out, but can also be at check-in.
